MOST Ministries
Help MOST Ministries Reach 2,600 People with the Gospel
Listed below are seven of our 2011 teams that still need to be filled. If we are unable to send the team out into the mission field, 2,600 people's physical needs will not be met but more importantly they will not hear the soul-saving Gospel message. Please contact Debby Suchyta to obtain an application form or for additional information.
Nicaragua
–Clean Water & Health/Hygiene Education Team (1107)
Did you know that unsafe drinking water, along with poor sanitation and hygiene, causes more than 1.5 million deaths annually, mostly among children under the age of five? This team will spend one week in the Rancherias community constructing sustainable water purification systems and providing health and hygiene education. This is a great long term project that has the possibility of changing an entire community with clean water, good health habits and proper sanitation. (full team needed)
Texas
–Light Construction & Compound Repairs Team (1121)
Members of this team will work at the Ysleta Lutheran Mission Center located in El Paso, Texas providing much needed construction updates and repairs. If you choose to go during the months of November or December you can also assist with their Thanksgiving food distribution or with their Christmas gift giving program. (full team needed)
Haiti
–Eyeglass Team (1130)
Anyone who wears glasses remembers the first time they put them on. It's amazing how many details of life once missed are sharply put back into focus. What if you could give that gift of sight to others who have never had access to it in the context of Christian love? Using a very simple testing system, team members will test vision and distribute eyeglasses to those in need. Depending on the number of team members, a team can see 100-300 people daily. In order to minister to the patient's spiritual needs, a witnessing station will also be included in the clinic. (full team needed)
Paraguay
–Health & Hygiene Education Team (1134)
Did you know that there are children living in Paraguay who spend their days sifting through garbage looking for salvage and scraps to sell in order to survive? Using a Bible-based curriculum members of this team will teach disease transmission, hand washing, dental hygiene, nutrition, and sanitation techniques to families living in two separate "dump communities." Please note that you do not need to be a health professional to join this team. (full team needed)
Uruguay
–Cultural Conversational Exchange Team (1135)
This team will serve at San Pablo Christian School conversing with high school students who are eager to practice their English skills. Teaching experience is not needed. You already have all you need. You have been doing it since you were little. You are a natural English speaker and can now use that ability to have faith conversations with willing students. (full team needed)
Poland
–English as Second Language Team (1138)
You will have the experience of a life time with this team which will teach English skills to students living in Poland. For two weeks members will teach English in the morning and spend the afternoons participating in all sorts of arts, crafts and recreational activities. Do not miss this opportunity to reach the lost through Christian education. Please note that you do not have to speak the language or need to be a teacher to join this team. (two more people needed)
Nicaragua
–Youth Ministry & Youth Leader Training Team (1141)
Pastor Marvin has a passion to see Nicaraguan youth achieve a better future and he know this will happen as they are taught to apply the Word of God to their lives. Members of this team will provide youth outreach activities along with training church leaders on how to continue reaching the youth once the team has gone home. There is no limit to what can be done (sports, puppets, music). We believe God is doing a new work in La Joya. Now all we need is a group of individuals willing to set aside a week of their time to go and serve. (full team needed)
WHAT IS GOSPEL OUTREACH?

The purpose of the Gospel Outreach Committee is to equip and motivate women to live the Gospel and to share it with all people.
What does this mean?
God wants you to be yourself when sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. He has chosen you, and given you the privilege of sharing that joy and excitement of your faith with others. Being a Christian is a blessing and the joy of Jesus in our lives should be evident to everyone.
We want to share encouraging notes and resources to see how you can easily and naturally share the Good News of Jesus' great love in your everyday living by:
- developing a closeness to your Savior through prayer, Bible study, worship, and devotional materials;
- recognizing there are many opportunities every day to be God's witnesses;
- understanding that everyone is unique and loved by God and He wants you to reach out to them!
